(KRON) -- A recently opened Korean-owned coffee shop in San Francisco's Sunset District is expanding with another location in the city. Jandii made its debut on Taraval Street in July and plans to open a cafe in The Castro.

Jandii will open at 3499 16th St. in early November, the business tells KRON4. The cafe has not released an official opening date yet.

The coffee shop replaces the space that was previously occupied by Kitchen Story, according to city records. Kitchen Story permanently closed in January, but its Oakland location remains open.

Jandii is owned by Ji Yeon Choi, who also co-owns Kitchen Story with several other business partners.

Jandii's menu includes Korean-inspired Einspänner drinks, matcha and its signature baked scones. The cafe's name, "Jandii" (pronounced "jan-dee"), stems from "the Korean word for a lush green meadow," according to its about page.
