Houston police are investigating after a man was found with a serious head injury after allegedly being robbed and struck with either a stick or club.
Officers responded to Westpark and Gessner Road after getting two separate calls. One was from a third-party and said there had been a road rage shooting. The other call was from the victim, who said he had been robbed by a known individual and then struck in the head.
Lt. Larry Crowson said the man was found at a shopping center in a vehicle. He had an injury to his head and was transported to a hospital in critical condition.

Crowson says they have no evidence there was a shooting, but do believe the man was robbed at a nearby apartment complex before making his way to the shopping center.
He says they know who the suspect is and believe this to be an isolated incident.
