(KRON) -- A juvenile has been charged with arson in connection with a vegetation fire Tuesday night, according to the Mill Valley Police Department.
MVPD and the Southern Marin Fire District responded to the fire on upper Hillside Avenue.
"Over the following day, police and fire investigators worked together to determine the cause of the fire. Through their investigation, they identified a potential cause and a person of interest," officials wrote in a social media post Thursday.
MVPD said no further details will be released on the suspect due to their age.
"We would like to thank our community for the many calls we received regarding this incident and for their willingness to assist with the investigation," added Mill Valley police.
