A 15-year-old girl was shot in the leg Wednesday night in the area of Ash Grove Place and Trinity Place in Albany’s South End, just after 6:30 p.m. While she is currently being treated for non-life threatening injuries, people in the community are raising concerns about what’s next. NEWS10’s Payton Cavanaugh spent all morning in the neighborhood speaking to residents after yet another teenager was shot in the city in less than two weeks. Families and kids tell us that these streets are where they spend time in the community, but they’re also constantly in fear.
